Joy Leising

Joy Leising.jpg

Joy Leising has been a pickleball professional for over a decade. She was ranked as a top-five Women's doubles player in the Pacific Northwest region and was on the alternate list for the Major League Pickleball (MLP) 2022 season. She is a four-time USAPA National Champion, and eight-time Canadian National Champion, and proudly holds a 5.2 DUPR pickleball rating.

Joy moved from the mid-west to play tennis for Lewis and Clark College and found her home in the Pacific Northwest. With her natural love for competitive sports, successful background in tennis (where she achieved USTA National Champion status at 5.0 + levels), and desire to continually challenge herself, Joy entered competitive pickleball years before it became a national craze.

As a values-driven and goal-oriented leader, Joy is passionate about advocating for and serving the pickleball community. She is the organizer of the annual Oregon Women's Team Cup, a competition that highlights the best players in the state while promoting women's pickleball. As a PPR-certified professional coach, she teaches up and down the West Coast. She also founded a children’s pickleball series, which, as well as teaching the sport, encourages healthy competition and team play to kids as young as five.

"I continue to compete in local and professional APP and PPA tours around the country, including a great tournament this May in NYC at the APP tour at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center."
